Academy Studios designed three new galleries that celebrate first-person stories, the entrepreneurs and the lifestyle of the County. Gallery-like photographic presentations and traditional exhibitry combine to create a sophisticated, informative space. Audio programs, quotes and video interactives along with the voices of present and past residents of San Mateo County connect visitors to the history of the County.

Each gallery highlights multimedia presentations, engaging interactives and historical artifacts connecting visitors to the stories of San Mateo County. From the immigrants who enriched the culture and economy to the entrepreneurs who changed the world with their technological advances, the people of San Mateo embody the California Dream.
