MIDE Opens in Mexico City
The
Museo Interactivo de Economia opened last week in Mexico City to international acclaim. More than five years in the making, this project was one of our biggest challenges: making fun, interactive, easy-to-understand exhibits about economics.
The results are outstanding. Academy Studios designed and built many of the freestanding interactives for the Museum, including a desert island game, a model railroad representing the flow of money through the economy, a mini object theater and a stunning bas relief of the history of economics in Mexico. These exhibits are housed in a fully restored monastery built in the mid-1700s in Mexico City's Centro Historico.
