Designing the Capital Unity Center
Following a number of hate crimes in Sacramento, concerned city leaders envisioned the Capital Unity Center, where visitors could experience the “untold” history of California, explore the richness of our diverse communities and investigate ways to change our collective future.
And here’s where the fun begins…
From recording booths to capture visitor’s personal stories to dramatic presentations of the hidden heroes of California’s past to a voting theater to multi-cultural workshops and more. With the Schematic Design wrapped up, we’re eager to talk to content experts and get input from the local community. With this essential information, we’ll be ready to flesh out each activity and exhibit both in terms of its physicality and the details of the visitor experience.
