The Centre includes exhibits on wetlands around the world, and opened to international acclaim in May 2006. Exhibit design by MET Studio, general exhibit contractor Beck Interiors LTD.
The 4,000 square foot exhibition space features a live crocodile tank, murals, artificial plants, live plants, specialty lighting and a winding path through it all. The effect is to fully suspend the visitor's disbelief with an immersion so complete even the horizon seems to curve away in the distance, just through the trees. Academy Studios built more than 60 trees by hand, each one 25 feet tall.
